Traditional time management teaches a concept called multi-tasking. This traditional time management concept is only a couple hundred years old. The problem is that multi-tasking can be ineffective and self defeating if used incorrectly. The end result is that you end up JUGGLING tasks and not completing them. Have you ever experienced this? If you have, it’s not your fault.

The ANTIDOTE is the Great Time Management Secret. When you understand what the Great Time Management Secret is, you will know that it’s much better to Single-Task than to Multi-Task. The reason Single-Tasking is more effective is because you have a greater chance of completing the task when you really focus on it. Also, when you know the Great Time Management Secret, you will learn the CORRECT way to multi-task, should you ever need to.

Imagine a task is an opponent that you need to knock out. Which scenario below do you think you would have the BEST chance of a knockout (completing a task)?

Scenario #1: Hitting 1 opponent 5 times (Single-Tasking).

or…

Scenario #2: Hitting 5 opponents 1 time each (Multi-Tasking)

It’s hard to knock out 5 opponents 1 punch at a time. But when you face only 1 opponent, you can deliver a barrage of punches and knock him out quickly! Then you can confidently go after your next opponent, with a record of 1 win and no losses.

The next time you’re tempted to multi-task…try and single-task. Try it out for yourself and check out the results!

To your time management success,

Jason

The HIDDEN Meaning of the Time Management TV Logo

A quick glance at the logo for Time Management TV and you might think it looks interesting. But I want you to look DEEPER. Just like life in general, sometimes you have to look beneath the obvious for that HIDDEN meaning. If you look closely at the logo, you’ll notice that it resembles a clock…but it isn’t really. There are no clock hands. That was done on purpose. You see, when you practice the Great Time Management Secret, you are NOT following a time centered approach…..Time is present, time is important, but it only occupies a subservient role…running in the background. It is not the most important thing.

The letters “TV” stand for television. So the “clock face” + the letters “TV” combine to make the Time Management TV logo. Pretty logical right? But that’s not all. The Letters “TV” also stands for something else besides television. It stands for something important. Something that is central to the Great Time Management Secret. That’s why the letters are in the center. That is why it’s in red (the color of importance).

The letters “TV” is what you aspire to in the Great Time Management Secret. I will be explaining the full extent of the logo’s hidden meaning, during the Great Time Management Secret movie on March 7, 2008.

Why have a logo that has meaning? So that when you look at the logo, it gets you back on track. It focuses you. It motivates you. It propels you towards action. And it reminds you what’s important.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Don’t think a logo is important to performance? Tell that to NIKE who spends millions of dollars just to promote their logo. NIKE is hoping their logo will boost THEIR financial performance. The Time Management TV logo will help boost YOUR performance. It’s hidden, because if the average person…you’re co-workers, friends etc. were to look at it, they would miss the secret significance. But YOU would know! And you would use it to BOOST your performance!

To your time management success,

Jason
